Wide Lat Pull-Down Front 


Developing the Muscles of the Back

     Back to the Muscle  Group

 

1)       Utilize a longer bar

For the widest grip

possible

 

2)       Grasp the bar with an

Overhand grip, and

Securely hook your

Knees in place to

prevent yourself from

lifting your own body

weight during the

Movement

 

3)       Pull the bar down

Smoothly until it

touches the top of

your chest.

 

4)       Make sure not to lean

Backwards during your

Lift, because you would

Take the focus off of

your upper Lats, and it

would involve your

lower back instead.

 

5)       Slowly allow the bar to

Raise back to the starting position.
