Triceps Extension Standing


1)      Begin in a neutral position with your feet shoulder width apart for stability.



2)      Lift a single dumbbell and place it behind your head gripping it with the support of the bottom side of your palms. Flex wrists at bottom to avoid hitting dumbbell on back of your neck



3)      With your elbows bent at a 90 degree angle take a deep breath in preparation for the upward movement.  



4)      Begin the movement by slowly exhaling as your contract your triceps extending the dumbbell above your head to complete one repetition.



5)      Be careful not to use momentum, and keep a smooth movement throughout the workout.
