Developing the Muscles of the Back

Back to the Muscle Group

1)      Start by locating and grasping a Smith Machine straight bar.



2)      Start this exercise by

Positioning your feet firmly on the ground with your chest out and your back straight.



3)      Start by pulling the barbell straight upwards keeping

your elbow tight

to your side.



4)      Pause for 2 seconds at

the top of your movement



5)      Slowly lower the barbbell

back towards the starting

position to complete one
