Knee Raises

Developing the Muscles of the Core/Abdomen

Back to the Muscle Group

1)      Start by laying flat on the

floor or a mat. For added support hold your hand down towards your hips to keep from rocking.


2)      Begin by pulling your knees upwards in an arching motion.


3)      Contract and squeeze

your abdominal muscles

as you raise your knees up to your chest. 


4)      Always try to keep from jerking or using momentum so you can better target the muscles involved.

      Abdominals (Mid and Upper)
