EZ Bar Narrow Press


Developing the Muscles of the Chest

Back to the Muscle Group

1)      Start by grasping an

EZ curl or Short Straight

bar.

 

2)      Lay down on a flat bench

and grip the center of

the bar with your hands

about 3 inches apart.

 

3)      Make sure that your feet

are firmly on the ground.

 

4)      Begin by pressing the bar

upwards while keeping

your elbow pointed

outwards.

 

5)      Press the bar until you’ve

nearly reached a lockout

at your elbows.

 

6)      Try and flex the inside

of your chest to

better target the muscles

involved .

 

7)      Slowly lower the bar

to the starting position to

complete one repetition.
